Overview

Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from the adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) fragment 4-10. Developed in Russia in the 1990s, this seven-amino-acid peptide was engineered with enhanced stability through the addition of a Pro-Gly-Pro extension at the C-terminus.
